We have overhead phone lines in this area - not had these since I lived in Portsmouth over forty years ago!

We had a busy day back at Ferring today clearing out the garage. I have never dealt with so many yucky cobwebs and dead insects! I also had a live spider crawl near my ear - had to grab it and it was huuuuge! Yuck. Glad that job is done as it was really hot in the garage which has no opening windows.

Hubby is going back over tomorrow to finish clearing the garden shed, then we have the house clearance people coming on Wednesday. All for free, except for a £2 charge for each bag of rubbish, and we have a few of those. Then we shall need to clean all the yucky bits under where the furniture has been.

Exhausted.com. Son is too as he spent the day working in a boiling hot warehouse charity office sorting out IT issues for them and it was a 3 hour round trip on top.
