open for business

put this beauty up for two reasons:
a tribute to my mum's green-fingers; and
it is such a saturated red/crimson, that I wanted to see what I had to do in pre and post production to bring out its structure with out letting the red overpower. In that respect, this is just a practice session.

this succulent flower is related to the Queen of the Night that I grew and photographed a while back.
