Serendipity

I went in search of a blip this afternoon wondering what I'd find on a short walk from work that wasn't a faded flower, a squirrel, or a withered autumn leaf in a puddle. I was feeling a bit desperate because I knew it would be dark before I got home and I didn't want to resort to calling on Snuffy to save the day again. Lo and behold, as I was walking by the children's library this lovely stained glass window struck me as a good subject. As many times as I've seen this window, and admired it, I was really amazed at how charming it was when I went inside and looked at it closely. Not only did I get a blip, but I also got the history of the window from one of the librarians and a thank you for stopping by as well.

See, this is why I've come to really love blipping. I find myself looking forward each day to the challenge of finding something that strikes my fancy, teaches me something, or takes my breath away. Here I am about 15 blips away from my first 100 and I'm still having a ball with it. I have no idea what I'll find tomorrow but I do know that I'll find something and it may be spectacular or ordinary, but I know it'll be fun. Just in case, there are a couple of panels of the stained glass window that I didn't photograph today.
