Colourful Cromarty

It was the first Community Market to be held in Fortrose today. We popped down and it was heaving with people and a great buzz.So glad to see it was well attended. Lots of local produce for sale from freshly picked veg to jams and pickles. It’s going to be held on the first of every month .
We drove up to Cromarty and admired this garden next to the Pottery.A mass of colour.
Lots of nice things in the Pottery and Gallery.I treated myself to a pottery dolphin.
There were a few yachts sailing out by the harbour so we walked out for a better look. The harbour rails have been replaced and funding has been given to restore the rest of the area which has become unsafe after many years of exposure to the elements.
I noticed a swallow flying into a tyre on one of the boats and could hear the babies from inside the rim.
Mike went to Belladrum afterwards, luckily it stayed dry.
