Foundry Fantasies

This corner of the foundry is like a sculpture in and of itself.
I just finished the double horse-head door knockers and emailed the buyer that I'd be sending them in the morning to her home in Redding, Calif. She emailed back that, alas, their house had burned to the ground in the 300 square. mile fire around Redding. However, they are looking for a place to live and will be designing the front entry around the knockers! They and 38,000 other residents of Redding are currently displaced, but are looking forward to rebuilding. What beautiful spunk and courage they are showing.
