Blowy

A breezy day, with occasional showers, but plenty of bright spells too.  Ollie and I had a couple of short walks, and I found the first blackberries of the year, huge and ripe and juicy.  I foresee another boiling of jam before long!  

Friends round for coffee in the morning, and then a quiet afternoon knitting and listening to the radio.  Ate the first beans from the garden - baby broad beans in their pods, together with more of the peas.  Everything just seems that bit earlier than usual.  I shall have to have a look at previous years' blips to check!
