Almost forgot

... the lasagne that is in a veggie version that I have not cooked before but part of the preparations for visitors this week. I'm sure a Mary Berry recipe can be relied upon. 

Bailey was generally quite patient waiting for his walk once it was made with the added advantage of it being a bit cooler. He's had to put up with quite a bit of watching me do things today except for when he was left to his own devices when I went to do a job and a shop. He'll be compensated for his patience by the arrival of our visitors tomorrow though.
