Heavy Horses

Such beautiful animals - and so well trained.  Everyone was entranced when these magnificent beasts went round the ring.

J and I braved the heat and went to Shabbington Steam Fair - driving there in our old Morris.  The traction engines and old tractors are always interesting and there was also a large collection of classic cars and motor bikes assembled in the field; we could have our Morris in but we didn't want to stay until the end of the show.

After a while the heat was too draining and we headed for home; worth seeing though.  I do think the heat kept people away as there weren't as many visitors as have been there in other years.
