Guess where we went today?

Yep, to see some big old stones!! ;-D

Passing Stonehenge many times over the years on our trips to and from Cornwall, Mr C and I finally got round to visiting it today. The last time I went was when I was about 6 or 7 and on the way home from our holiday (possibly Cornwall?). I had fallen asleep in the car and was woken to visit the stones. Back then you could walk right up to them and I walked around them in a grump because I had been woken up... with evidence on an old cine film. Mum said she must dig it out for me ;-D

Back to today, we arrived earlier than our allotted time but when straight in. A walk around the exhibition centre, shuttle bus to the stones, a walk around taking photos from different angles, back to the centre where we grabbed a drink and sandwich before continuing our journey.

We arrived at mum & dads in lovely warm sunshine. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
