Skara Brae

I remember first hearing about Skara Brae in primary school and it was fascinating to visit it today. It was amazing to realise that 50 to a 100 people lived on this prehistoric site.  It was also lovely to see the beach with the whitest sand Ive ever seen. We were very fortunate with the weather today as it was the sunniest one we had which made a difference as we were outside all day. After this we went to the Ring of Bodgar which is a stone circle that predates Stonehenge by a good lot of years (cant remember how many!). That's what the extra photo is.
