Long day

We were supposed to travel 4 to 5 hours today.
Some traffic jams and a fire on the French-Spanish border made it a trip of ca 14h. Because of the fire the highway to spain was blocked to prevent casualties and to let the fire brigade do their job. ‘Luckily’ we took another road (due to the traffic jams I mentioned earlier), but 3/4 way up the mountain (and ca 60km from our destination) we (and a lot of others) were warned by a very kind motorcyclist that we could not go further due to the fire.
We managed to find an alternative route (we seemed to be the only ones) and arrived at our destination 3h later...
