Fringe Benefits

There are plenty of silly sights in central Edinburgh just now.  The Festival Fringe is getting going and the street is full of hopefuls trying to get an audience for their shows. For example:

This lady appears every year in the same spot, in the same outfit, going through the motions of spinning and trying to stop people taking pictures without placing  £1 in her little basket.  Quite where the artistry in this is, I fail to understand, I am surely missing the point.

You can make your own minds up about the extra too - The Donald, balancing on a bollard, in pink tights, promising to 'Make America Gay Again'.
