Quarr Abbey

I met my friends today at Quarr Abbey. We had a lovely time looking around the Abbey and saw an art and photography exhibition there. Then we had a delicious lunch in the cafe there, before going on a long walk, we saw the ruins of the original abbey, then kept going. I'd just mentioned to my friends that it would be nice if there was an ice cream parlour as it was so hot. We walked around the next corner and there was a church where a wedding had just ended. And guess what? An ice cream van was there! Organised by the bride and groom, but we were allowed to by some ice creams! They were delicious. We ended up at Binstead beach which was almost empty. Daisy enjoyed a paddle in the sea before we headed back. A great day.
