Tradition

I visit Leineperi every summer. It's an almost perfectly preserved industrial compound from the 18th century, situated in Ulvila on the West Coast of Finland. This lady – called Maarika – was baking rye bread in a huge oven which can accommodate 38 loaves.

The name of the place goes back to the German industrialist who immigrated from a place called Kleineberg somewhere in Germany.
