Ightham Mote

Hot...hot..hot! 

The National Trust House Stewards at Ightham Mote were more than happy to be working inside today in the relatively cool rooms.  The rest of us were busy chasing the shade.  Mum found a pleasant spot on a bench where she spent a happy hour or so taking photos, reading (and probably napping!) while I went round the house and roamed the gardens.  It was then time for an ice cream before heading home.
