Through the arch..

This is a follow up to yesterday's blip - this is the arch you can see in the distance in that photo.

It looks like an allotment area through the gates and someone had obviously been working on it today, there was a little fire burning and the earth has been turned over.

There is a plaque on the wall to the left of the arch, not in the photo, which advises that this dates from 1013 - so nearly 1,000 years old!
