Early this morning....

We had a blue dawn this morning. There were no signs of pink, red or gold in the sky but a smudge of brown smoke from a distant bonfire. Maisie and I did a much longer walk to the Meadowbank Station Bridge and back. I felt unwell late morning and that made for a trip to the hospital this afternoon. After being checked out with ECG and blood tests I was given the all clear and was able to come home. An early night to bed for me.
