Johnstone Tower

I have driven past this Tower for 20 years going to and from work 5 days a week, but never had the opportunity to go and look at it until today . From the to of the Garvock Hill that looks over Laurencekirk you have to climb over 5 gates some with Barbed wire to get to the tower . There is a door in the Tower and you can go up to the top but you have to watch out as the last 4 steps are partially missing and you have to take a large step to get to the top. Well worth it though with view over  the Mearns
