Hmmm...I wonder why there are no birds on the bird feeder this afternoon?

It's nice to be home. We awoke in Minneapolis at 3:45 am for our flight home. Colby is now groggy and buried in a mountain of homework and make up school work. The price she pays do missing school.
Our friend Julia had surgery today to remove part of her liver and all of her gall bladder (and the cancer in them). It went very well, hooray. Chemo is still on the horizon but she is counting the many blessings so far considering the diagnosis and potential worst case scenarios she has faced.
