A Day Off....

.... from the exhibition today, thanks to hibou who looked after it today, and I was able to walk up to the ridge behind Solalex with Josiane. We were joking about seeing the "gypaète (bearded vulture) and suddenly there it was, a very pale one, flying below us. Then a few minutes later a big shadow passed us, It was so close, circling with it's 2.5m wingspan! Too close for the long lens, then almost immediately too far away for a good shot, but what a close, fabulous, encounter! (See extra to see where we were sitting).
