A nice piece of art that arrived today from Haji, the little girl that the boys and I sponsor in Afghanistan. She doesn't write but her drawing is coming along pretty well, I think :)

In other news, it was Careers Evening at the school and we've come home laden with all manner of prospectuses, brochures and freebies. Plenty to think about. The best two stands, in my opinion, were those run by the University of Surrey's Physics Department and Merrist Wood College, both of which were very hands-on (in the case of the latter this involved being hands-on with two snakes, a ferret and a German Shepherd dog).
