Meditating Corvids

They stand looking over the water and are so very quiet .
I've seen them do this often and wonder at their social bonds.  Last night I read an article & wish I hadn't . Basically some songbird enthusiasts of UK believe that crows are killing aforementioned. Forget lack of trees, use of pesticides ,building & cats, the  finger of the zealot points only at corvids & even dismisses the opinion of the RSPB.  There are numerous crows in Berlin and Brandenburg & equally  very many songbirds .How strange. The environment caters for them all. Culling seems to be rather vogue in UK .Beware  all  cat owners. The recent fires may have killed songbirds and other wild life so watch out remaining UK corvids .You just aren't 'cute' enough for Britain.
Have re thought this image .Could well be they meet to remember their fellow corvids elsewhere who are shot merely for being what they are , Corvids . Shot by the ignorant humans for any number of daft reasons .
