Thanks everyone for all the heartening comments.
The day started incredibly overcast and dark.
By 11, the heavens opened and we had a great rain shower that tailed off into drizzle. The sun returned and it remained about 23/24c most of the day.
I am so grateful for the rain.
The PC could not download my photos but Paul helped me and now I have included today's collage with the photo you all kindly commented on.
My daughter has come home from Leeds so I look forward to a happy family weekend.
