Swing
Back blip
Tuesday's walk with Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers, which I led, was around Camelon and along the River Carron to Carronbridge and back.
Near the start of the walk we crossed the Dorrator Bridge, opened in 2015 to replace the old swing bridge which crossed the River Carron from 1893 to 2014. The seat in today's blip is situated nearby and pays tribute to that old bridge and its architect, Louis Harper of Aberdeen.
