Visited national slate museum. Fascinating place, very well presented. Had a go at slate splitting and dressing. These are some of the wooden patterns used in the onsite foundry for casting. Dad had a bit of stomach ache so went back to hotel in the afternoon. Probably ate too much. Usual evening routine - entertainment the best one of the week though
