...behind the shops in Westerham, you might see this creature from long ago.......

I had a lovely time with my big sister this morning. Impromptu too. I caught her polishing her front door!! Soon put a stop to that...We sat in her garden with a coffee and chatted... and laughed lots. 

After lunch we took a drive to Westerham and just missed the chance to visit Quebec House; another small National Trust property and the childhood home of General James Wolfe of the Battle of Quebec fame. So we walked behind the high street and came across this old tree trunk.

 We enjoyed a very early dinner in garden of The Kings Arms pub. A lovely venue to which we shall return. Looks like a good hotel too and a possibility for We Four....
