Hollow Gate

This ancient track is section 2 of my Longshaw Butterfly Survey transect. There wasn't a great deal around, but it was, as always, a pleasant walk. The area at the bottom of this track was very busy - it's a very popular picnic and paddling spot for families, especially on a warm sunny day in the school holidays. It's amazing that only a few hundred metres away it is so peaceful.
