Sharp shadows

I do wait till after six to water the garden, but the sun is still blazing down. 38C when I took this shot, and I'm now rewarding myself with another icy G&T. Also saving my sanity is the daily morning visit to the swimming pool. No need to even swim -- just get in to wallow and chat, as the water is enough of a pleasure in itself.

I should really cook some ratatouille with the produce from the garden, but I can't face it -- more sliced tomatoes with feta and olive oil! Might have a go at cooking after dark ...
