Energy slump

It is always the same when I look forward to a day with Audrey - it never quite lives up to the expectation! Turns out am not quite recovered from whatever wiped me out at the weekend. Was good for nothing today. And went to bed at 9pm last night too!

But babies need you to be on form. There is no half way house with babies. They smell tired and I swear it makes them more demanding! I had to nap when she napped just to keep up today.

All our plans went out the window. We'd planned to go to Cinebabies at the Trafford Centre to watch Skyfall. It's a cinema for Mums and babies.
But we canned that idea when I could barely muster the energy to lace up my Converse, never-mind drive the car.

Thank God my husband was working from home. He gave me lunch off to recuperate and bathed her tonight.

Fresh start tomorrow!!! Today was a write off.
