Still not enough snow round here. I'd really like it to be cold and snowy enough to warrant the use of walking-boots but it's barely at the stage where my feet feel refreshed and cool when a big cold gust blows.

One pleasing aspect of newtrainers is a sensation of airflow around the middle of the top of the front of the foot which bodes well for the summer when feet overheat. Makes them a little less suitable for cycling during the depths of winter but that's where old squeakytrainers come in handy, being waterproof and much less ventilated.
