Just A Pretty Flower

The weather was much cooler today accompanied with a most welcome breeze.  

Lizzie has an appointment at the vet tomorrow which is traumatic for both of us.  Getting her into the car is becoming more and more difficult for me.  When I put all 20 pounds of her in her large carrier, hoist her up two flights of stairs and then into the car I'm worn out.   There's nothing seriously wrong with her but I like to have her checked periodically because of her lack of activity.  She needs her claws clipped and a vaccination but that's it.  I'll need more time to recover than she will after the day is over.
