Chinese feast

We hosted a dumpling-making party tonight. Imagine two dozen or so Chinese folks, making 200 or so dumplings from scratch, along with a handful of other traditional dishes. It was amazing. So much laughter, and joy, and fun.

We also received a gift from the dean, one of his watercolor masterpieces. He spent his entire stay here painting, painting, painting. He is a phenomenal artist not because he is tallented, though he is, but because he practises his craft, daily, with remarkable intensity and focus. Something to note.
