Nature Diary ... Red Moon

Red Moon
Having just missed the much publicised 'Blood Moon' on July 27th 2018 due to cloud cover I was fascinated to see the colour of the moon both last night and tonight, about which I don't think there's been any publicity. Maybe not a full moon, but an interesting colour.

(These moon shots replace the firework photos I'd posted here originally along with my rather acerbic comments about the use of fireworks and the disturbance they cause to wildlife and to pets. The firework photos now appear in the extras.
