Waiting to embark ....

..... on the ferry travelling the short distance from Largs to the island of Great Cumbrae.

Not the best weather for a trip to Millport ... very overcast with rain threatening for most of the day.

Eileen and I were going to visit her cousins who have a holiday house on the island. Heather gave us a lovely lunch before we headed to the famous Ritz cafe for an ice cream .... didn't matter that it was raining by this time.

A ferry ride back to Largs and then it was the nose to tail journey along the motorway back to Glasgow.
