Up the ladder

The lilies have been dead for months! They flowered well even though they were under attack from the [parents of] these lily beetles.

Now in autumn with the dry husks of the seed heads standing like an exhibit at the sculpture park they return to wander aimlessly about.

They are very pretty, but they will lay eggs which will destroy next years flowers. So I squished them [after I took some photos] waste not-want not.

Otherwise, another soggy day.
