Stoat

Not the greatest shot I've ever taken, but I had to blip it as I was so excited as I've not seen one for such a long time. 
This evening we went for a quick walk around Lunt Meadows. Not a great deal to see, but whilst we were at the kingfisher screen we saw a Stoat! 
I wasn't sure what I'd seen as it moved so quickly, but hubby soon found out what was going on. We had obviously disturbed this stoat stashing it's kill, which looked like the remains of a duck. We waited a while and sure enough it crept back and then quickly dragged the duck to a place out of sight. It moved very quickly considering the duck was bigger than it was - it was just like watching Springwatch!
