Seagull on a Hot Glass Roof!

Not to be confused with Cat on a Hot Tin Roof!!

After a visit to the hairdressers this morning (almost as traumatic as yesterday’s visit to the bank!) it was into Bath to run a few errands, and to pick up train tickets for my trip to The Mumbles. And it was at the train station that I spied Sammy the Seagull. Standing on that hot roof, I hope he doesn’t suffer like the 270 gulls who found themselves at a local Somerset wildlife rescue centre with "severe" burns on their feet due to the heatwave: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-somerset-44984275

Another day of strange weather: one minute blue skies, the next minute stormy grey clouds, but not a drop of rain for the garden. It looks like the heatwave and drought are set to continue…
