Pupparazzi #3 - Flash

This is Flash. She is now three weeks old and weighs in at just over 2.5 kg. As you can see, she wears a red ribbon and is the sweetie of the litter. For some reason the one that wears the red ribbon usually is.

A slow, sad start to the day. Feeling like I would like to be where my family are right now to share in their grief and to support them through it. At least they all have each other to hug.

Cousteau is fast asleep by my feet. It's still really warm at 7 pm and having a hot dog around my feet is making it even warmer. Still, there's something comforting about feeling his heartbeat and the rise and fall of his breath.

He came puppy photographing today and is a little less wired than he was earlier. A combination of the heat and seeing his sister and Harvey. He didn't much like the puppies and ran away if I tried to put one near him. Memories of when they get teeth? Maybe.

A quiet night in to end Waitangi Day (a public holiday). Great to think I still have the weekend stretching out in front of me.
