Wetlands

Today started off very wet, so we grabbed our wet weather gear to go for a walk at the wetlands...one of Frida, Jills and my favourite places .
As soon as we got there, the sun came out and we walked for over an hour without getting wet.
The weather changes so quickly up here, something tourists don't always appreciate. There have been a lot of helicopters flying today, searching for a missing climber on Mt Aspiring, but the weather has hampered them. Our local Search and Rescue Volunteers to an amazing job rescuing people, I do hope today ends with a positive outcome.
