Domestic Day

I'm feeling unusually energetic today so I'm having a go at being a domestic goddess. So far the bathroom has been blitzed, as has the kitchen. The ashes have been cleaned out and the fire layed, the smell of a freshly baked banana loaf (thanks for the recipe Diane!) is wafting through the house and a bean goulash for tonight's dinner is bubbling away (cheap, healthy, yummy and the after effects provide a whole evening of free entertainment - what more could you want from a meal?).
Now to tackle the chaos that is my bedroom. Or maybe sit down with a cup of tea and another slice of that cake :)
