Shade

Another lovely day!  What a summer!  After the gales and heavy rain of the weekend, it is great to be back to sunshine again.  

Mike, Ollie and I went for a walk this morning and ended up on the beach, doing a bit of rock pooling.  Ollie spent a lot of time in the water, we found interesting stones and bits of glass and Mike collected a sample of weed to examine under the microscope.  Always handy to have a supply of clean dog poo bags about my person!

Back home, Mike to his microscope, me to my hut to catch up on letter writing.  While on our walk we had a look at the ruin where the roof has had a further collapse - see extra. It was to be my blip for today until Ollie decided to upstage it!  He is enjoying my hut as much as I am!
