Thames

Cleaning doesn't pay. I story knocked the lid of my Chinese tea cup and it shattered. Later I found my sunglasses, in my bag, had broken.

Busy morning tidying things up and sorting out HR things. Then to the airport. Big mistake. What made me think that was a good idea? Airport was still move. Plane was late. Long walk to N terminal. Forgot I could use my Oyster and wee faff with train. So if I'd got the train and tube I"d have got here at 6.20. The bus, plane and train took an hour longer. You learn.

Walked (oh my aching back) to St Katharine"s Dock and ate an indifferent meal and wondered if my 2 x gt grandmother ever came here when it was a working dock. I'll never know.

Before getting the bus back walked to Tower Bridge for some fantastic views up the Thames. Very busy with tourists also taking photos.

Back for a nightcap.
