Posing in the brambles

This morning I picked up my rucksack to go to the gym and walked through to the front door.  As I got there I put my hand in the front pocket to find the gym card and as I pulled it out I looked down and saw a sleek brown mouse sitting on top of the bag.  It took one look at me and leapt away to hide under the lavender bushes - I was happy it leapt that way and not back into the house!
