And so it begins...

Today this arrived from the French consulate, our marriage is now official in the UK where it happened and in France. We received our Livret de famille, so our family is now official in France. There isn't a lot to it, a book with my name and my parent's names on one page, my wife's name and her parent's name on the other, and lots of space for children! 

Ours is green and was issued by the Ministère des Affaires ètrangères (Ministry of foreign Affairs), because we were married in foreign lands. So I now exist on my first official bit of French paperwork. One down, many to go...!
