The impressive colonnade...

...at the Trinkhalle pump rooms in Baden-Baden spa, with its colourful paintings and sculpted ceiling. We arrived early enough to find the place quiet and sunlit.

There were many aspects of the spa which reminded us of Harrogate but were more grand.

The weather remains very hot and the wi-fi barely functioning, but the food, drink and company on our river cruise make up for any inconvenience.
