Thank you

An emergency blip of the thank you card my housesitter gave me.

Just mooched around today on my day off, still tired from yesterday. But having to take time to try and arrange to meet with a funeral family who haven’t been responding.

Some families understandably shut down in their grief and it can feel like I’m badgering them. But alongside that is their desire to give a good sendoff, and that can’t happen unless they meet with me and make some decisions.

Why don’t people plan their funerals? It’s not like it isn’t going to happen!
