Red rose and crochet.

The red rose has survived a few years in my garden and was a Mother's Day gift. I like the centre design of the flower petals.
The crocheted flowers have been a good pastime during the hot weather. Crochet is a useful activity for focussing the mind, like meditation.
It is centring and can give a pleasant sense of stillness in our busy world.
It could be seen as a female craft, but it is up to you.
Fishermen originally started the knitting tradition.
Crochet is easy to learn from tutorials on You Tube, where the lessons are at various skill stages.
It is pleasantly cool and sunny with a temperature of 22c. I can live happily in this.
