Essentials

Spent a while this morning making adjustments to my bike, the handlebars being a bit skewwhiffy and having a tendency to just keeping turning when I have to make an urgent swerve (a not unrare occurrence). So after a long distance catch-up with D&K, who'll be visiting in the not too distant future, we set off on another evening bike ride. I got as far as the first corner before my handlebars collapsed. Apparently I'm no expert bike mechanic! But I can learn from my mistakes so after emergency repairs we set off again, only this time with wrench and socket added to my bumbag.
