Seattle

We arrived back in Seattle this morning after a wonderful experience on our Alaska Cruise. The organisation was superb and we disembarked smoothly and took a taxi to our next hotel. After a rest in the hotel (where we were given an upgrade to an executive suite) we wandered down to the waterfront and went to ‘Antony’s ‘ for a delicious lunch overlooking the water. We walked along the waterfront and then up through the town to the hotel. Everything seems very manageable here in Seattle.

There was a race taking part through our part of town.

Dinner in Shuchters Restaurant - delicious - lots of seafood. The annual ‘Seafair’ Parade was happening and passing by our hotel so we watched the floats and dancers etc for a while.
