Ready to Go

Our bothy is about 20 minutes walk (or 30 for little legs) from the end of the road, so everything we want has to go over in rucksacks.

CyclopsJnr was very excited to have his own rucksack, and he had his on his back while his parents were still strapping things on to theirs ready to go.

He managed the walk over splendidly - he complained of tired legs about half way, but fortunately that is when the house comes into view and the excitement carried him the rest of the way.  The very rough terrain didn't seem to bother him at all.

The rest of the day was spent exploring and opening up the house.  He was pretty excited to meet his camp bed, and get his sleeping bag ready.  He even volunteered for an afternoon nap!
